Giorgio Satta is an award -winning Sardinian artist, who grew up surrounded by the beauty of Rome. He has been using his talents to transform homes and businesses both in Italy and the Valley of the Sun for the past 15 years. With his wife, Sherry and daughter, Susanna, he moved to Phoenix 7 years ago and distinguished himself with his skills, versatility, price and reliability. His home improvement/handyman service has attracted a large clientèle, who often repeat with new projects and recommend him to friends, thanks to his dedicated, helpful approach and talents. He follows every aspect of a job to the letter. His estimates take into consideration the customer’s budget and time frame and give a fair appraisal at a fair price for materials, cost, and time involved. If desired, he can accompany the client, helping them select the right materials at the right cost. He is willing to work according to the client’s schedule, bringing the job in on time with as little variation as possible from the original estimate. With his easy going nature, he is always open to questions whether involving the current project or whatever the client needs to know. He’ll take care of light plumbing or electrical issues, but will advise you if the complexity of the job needs an electrician or plumber.
Giorgio’s initial clients here in the Valley came about thanks to our participation in Phoenix Sister Cities-Catania, Sicily Committee and The American-Italian Club. Since Giorgio became known for his old world ethic of an honest estimate, attention to detail, and a job brought in on time at a fair price, word spread to others in the international community. For the well known Tomaso’s Italian Restaurant , Giorgio remodeled the kitchen and painted his new Tommy V’s Osteria Pizzeria. For Villagio Tile and Travertine, he tiled all their displays, flooring and the owner’s home. For EuroDream Kitchens, owned by a Dutch couple, he remodeled many large, upscale kitchens. For a Finnish and Pakistani family, not only has he done myriad handyman jobs, but he painted the exterior, patio, and fencing of their 4000 sq.’ home. For a French and American couple, he built a patio. For a Dutch and Finnish couple, not only did he paint their interior and doors, but also designed and painted the tree mural, which you can see here on the site. For an Englishman, he completely restored his deck. For a German couple in Fountain Hills, he redid their bedrooms. For another Finnish client, he built her deck, created an arch in her kitchen , and put in hardwood flooring, which pleased her so much she held a “floor show party” to celebrate!
For the majority of his customers, who are American, Giorgio works as an insured contractor on small, medium, or large jobs in the central Valley under the state’s “handyman category.” His jobs take him from Cave Creek to Laveen, from Glendale to Fountain Hills. For farther flung large jobs, he’ll go the distance….anywhere in state. Right before Christmas 2011, a South African couple, living here, flew him to Italy to remodel their bathrooms and still saved over the local competition.
